PAMCA WiVC Mentorship Programme - LiftHer2

PAMCA foresees mentorship as a key steppingstone in strengthening the role of WiVC and for advancing their involvement in the leadership arena. The official launch of the PAMCA WiVC Mentorship Programme (LiftHer2) was held during the 8th PAMCA Annual Conference & Exhibition in Kigali, Rwanda. There will be new cohorts annually, officiated during the PAMCA conference.

Mentorship Structure. This is a mentee-driven mentor-guided programme where mentors and mentees are matched to meet the much needed impact. The emntorship sctructure includes: identifying, recruiting, orienting mentors; matching mentors with mentees; agreement of mentorship objectives; programme roll out and monitoring success. Mentors and Mentees are competitively selected from a short-list of applicants based on a pre-determined criteria. The mentorship period is 12 months.

  • Promoting personal and professional development through knowledge transfer from skilled women in VBD in Africa and the diaspora
  • Empowering and building confidence in the work done by WiVC
